Given my teams' win totals, I would expect to have had an average of 1.48 playoff teams. So I was somewhat lucky that I got two. But then I went 1-6 and quickly exited the playoffs. I'm sure I will drop out of the top 12 overall and top 10 in Round 2. There is room for improvement.

Knowing I need to win the WS with all three teams sure lowers the pressure ;) Plus justinlee has my $130 team that squeaked into the playoffs down 2-0

• discodemo has been eliminated with his loss in the 90M LCS
• doctorcc has been mathematically eliminated despite a strong performance

• d_rock97 has a Game 7 in the 90M LCS this afternoon and 2-1 leads in both the 130M and 160M LCS. However, he needs to win all 3 WS OR win 2 WS and have me not get a single additional point

If d_rock97 loses his Game 7 this afternoon and I get another win in the 120M LCS then it's over

d_rock97 has made 2 WS and, if he wins both and I get swept in my 1 WS, we'd tie, and I'd win the tiebreaker. Amazing run by him to add some drama to the finish though!

The timing of next year's tournament will be somewhat based on COVID. If things don't improve, I'll be more biased towards starting the tournament earlier (i.e. kicking off signups in February/March). If things do improve drastically, we'll likely revert back to a late-May kickoff.

Yikes. Personally I'd be happy with:

• Improving from a previous finish of 59th to a Top 5 (potentially Top 2) finish
• Improving from 21st in Round 1 to 2nd in Round 2
• Beating a Pre-Rank of 47th handily
• Getting three teams to the LCS and two to the WS in Round 2

Maybe my math is wrong, but if d_rock97 wins both WS, he gets 14 points per team (10 WS bonus + 4 wins per team) for a total of 28 points.

If you somehow get swept in your WS, you get zero points.

According to the the standings that you've posted, d_rock97 is 27 points back... so technically he could win by 1 if this scenario happens.

He was already up 1-0 in one of the WS when I posted this. So he only had 27 remaining points available

It’d be just as easy for me to say that my two 100 win teams (two of the best in the tournament all season) should have won the WS rather than losing their LDS and I should have blown the field out of the water by 40+ points.

You lost. It happens. Your teams were not robbed. This is a game of probabilities, not certainties. It’d be one thing if your teams were the best all season and fell apart in the playoffs (in schwarzian fashion) but that’s not the case. They were second best and it looks like you’ll finish second after never cracking the Top 24 before. Come back next year and bring even better teams! Really impressed by your performance but not the attitude.
