Yep, I don't think that's going to happen. It would probably take a couple of decent sized blowouts for me to catch pedro. (I might have had a shot if pedro didn't just win his last game by a score of 18-1)

There are six teams with a record of 80-81 and tens teams with a record of 79-82. That's sixteens. There are only eight spots available for round 5 advancement among these 16 teams. (Top 94 advance, with the two below-500 playoff teams getting spots 95 & 96). RTG is in b/c his 80-81 Cardinals team is winning it's division.

Actually, I don't need two blowouts. I ran the numbers. Obviously, I need to win and pedro needs to lose, but the run differential needs to only be about 7 or 8 runs. (It can vary based on how many total runs are scored.)

Yeah that was my guess as well. Given you get a win and he gets a loss, that's minimum of +2 diff, would guess it's about 50/50 in that scenario.

The funny thing is, that although I would really like to get the #1 pick, I don't have an obvious #1 choice. There are about 5 teams (in different leagues) that I am more than happy to take with two of my top 4 picks, and I can't decide which 2 to take.

pedrocerrano might make my decision easier.

Hopefully, he started his research since he pretty much knew for a while that he was going to have a top pick. I'm ready to fire.

I've finished my research for leagues 1-3; starting league 4 now. I should be able to pick tomorrow night (CA time).

Well, if we can get the Top 8 picks completed by mid-day Thursday, and the draft order can be sent out by Thursday evening (Aug 10), that means we have to get through all the drafts in 6 days, so juice can get everything done prior to leaving for his long vacation.

Gonna be tight.
