The bottom line gist of it, is that many of you don't like me because of A. the veracity/harshness of my posts (I agree it could use some consistent work/help) and B. my above average stubbornness...thus I'm going to be a tough guy to change the mind of, because I've probably thought more about the things I argue about than you all give me credit for.
When "we" argue, it just becomes one big online ******* contest, where the only right answer in most/all of your minds is colonels19 saying/admitting that you're right. You don't care about listening to my argument, qualms, or otherwise, you deem your opinion "RIGHT" and you EXPECT me to fall in line with it, and that just doesn't fly with me. As I've said before, EVERYONE disagreeing with me isn't a good enough reason to change my mind. Giving me some weak "that's the way HD is" response is not how you win me over. Moreover I routinely concede almost everyone's points here, and I usually say that its not to the extent that it justifies the situation at hand for me....that's apparently never good enough for any of you, and we just argue in circles...that isn't my fault; you getting mad because you haven't/didn't change my mind. The problem often times isn't with what I say, but with how you all react to it.
If you think I'm crazy, fine, but all I've ever wanted to do is have civil discussions and like I said I have very strong opinions, and many of you are just more focused on "beating" me than acknowledging my opinions and retorting.
Understand. Adjust. Adapt. Repeat.
