What to do when you can't choose between three different players?
a. Flip a coin
b. Do more research
c. Just pick a guy and live with it

I was going to do some scouting, but the sun got in my eyes and it wasn't fair cause the other owners got to scout at night...
Freakin' whining Cardinals.

Dick Allen is Gone!  The shout could be heard through out outbackers Draft Head Quarters.  Needless to say the outbacker Team had Allen pegged for their 9:30 Pick!  Allen was going to give the outbacker Club 4 Excellent years-1970-71-72 and 74.  True there were some less than 600 PA years. but Allen's HR punch more than made up for that.  What now?  outbacker admits that everyone was sitting comfortably waing to make our 9:30 Back to Back Picks when suddenly we saw Allen's name go up on the Board.  What a shock!  This could even affect our other pick explains outbacker, because of the necessary Chemistry required in putting a Team together.

I'm thinking of posting a list of guys I really don't want and saying these are the players I really do want, just to gum up the works a little. But now if I do that, you'll know that I really don't want those guys......or do I?

skonley-Right now I can't think or Talk.  I just lost Dick Allen, one of our League's Premier Sluggers!

Do we have an available players page?  I see the list of catchers at the end of our "join this league" thread.  Where is the rest?  Thanks.

I sent a sitemail out some time ago stating the available players were on page #2 of the draft thread.

Excellent.  I must have forgotten.  Thanks.

So after all is said and done my Team Drafted Jim Brewer P and Bill Doak P-And I end up with Jim Brewer instead of Dick Allen.  Being that this League is made up of all 20 and 70 Players there will be a shortage of Good Closers because the 20's simply didn't have any.

I have one pitcher so far, anybody not have any yet? Should I be worried? Nah.

tyvegas-You have a variety of Position Players who are young and a SP who will be outstanding in a couple of years.  So I can understand that a lot of the remaining Pitchers are now Pitchers, who really don't fit.  But from what I see the 21/71 Draft will not be a good one for Pitchers, so I'm not sure if you should be worried

I don't Pick again till tomorrow night, so I can't really make any plans but so far I have 8 Players who were on my orginal list and have not been selected yet.  I'd be happy with any 1 or 2 of them tomorrow night(Have Back to Back Picks).  But anything can happen with so many Picks in front of me.  I don't want to be caught with my Pants Down, as I was when Dick Allen was selected and I had to then on the spur of the moment come up with a substitite Player in Jim Brewer.That worked out OK, but my heart can't take another one of those eposides.

So, this draft is going to take at least 26 days?   Are we doubling up picks later on or just one pick a day?
