My vote would be for a random ordered draft for the last round. That, to me, is more fair. A free-for-all would benefit whoever happens to be online when the last picks are posted.

It wouldn't be a free for all for anyone online. It is either random ordered draft of the wild card franchises or potential for every team to pick the same guy. Everyone could then pick at anytime no matter what or who anyone else picked.

Man, I hate changing the rules midway through a draft.

It says nothing about a draft in round 25. There are picks I would have made differently had I known there was a chance the guy I planned on addiing in Round 25 might not be there.

If we change this to a draft, are we allowed to go back and change a pick for a player (obviously only for a player who is still available)?

Every pick is from a draft. The only difference is that the last pick comes from the 5 "wild card" franchises.We could randomly assign the 5 remaining franchises but that would restrict things and that wasn't the purpose. Everyone was randomly assigned a franchise to start with for the first 24 rounds. Just like every other round you take your chances. As it stands now the only fair way is too randomly assign draft spots. If others disagree let me know. I am easy either way.

Both of my teams' general managers are voting for everyone being able to take whomever he wants in the last round.

Either way, I think we need to decide soon so we all know to continue drafting our team. My pick this round depends on which way this thing goes, and I'm probably not the only one.
