Bottom line: You need to play this game because you enjoy it and because you want a challenge. If you view it as a waste of money, you probably shouldn't be playing.

I cracked the Top 24 a couple years ago by winning Game 7 of the last WS...as dramatic as it gets. All the anguish and awfulness (including last year's death spiral team that lost 130 games) was worth it.
