Didn't renew at Richmond but was curious what was available. At job application period, Richmond was listed as a "keep looking". Didn't change jobs and looked to see what was available at new coach hire. I am not eligible for Richmond or, for that matter, any job that is not several prestige levels below Richmond. I find this very odd and indicative of the broader hiring logic problems. Not a complaint as I wasn't planning on coming back to Richmond, more of a "huh"

Relevant stats..... I am not a great D1 coach by any means, but....
Loyalty was A+
Team said I was "exceeding expectations"
I raised Richmond from a C to a B-
Left Richmond as a B-

I too have noticed there are some oddities when it comes to the jobs process.

For example, some DI jobs I was qualified for when I was looking to get back into Wooden now say "not qualified" even though I could have applied and would have gotten them. I know that because I glanced at the jobs available the last time even though I have no plans to leave the school I'm at.
