What is everything that homecourt adv impacts and too what degree?  I notice a decent deal in foul differential when I play at home as opposed to away and visa versa.

I agree that foul calls are definitely influenced home vs. away. I've also noticed a slight, but persistent trend with regard to 3-point shooting home vs. away. Logically, I would think there'd be an impact to turnovers as well, but I haven't seen a significant enough home vs. away differential to say, possibly because my away games are against easier teams (on balance, not every single away game), which possibly could mask any impact there. It's hard to pin down because there can be so many variables that trying to isolate solely for the effects of HCA can be difficult.

I can tell you that the foul differential is what makes the most sense from a real life standpoint. There was a study conducted a few years ago (I believe) and the results showed the most significant difference (and the only one that actually had consistent significance) in home versus away play at sports was the behavior of the officials - they tended to do more of what the home crowd wanted, hence the advantage.
