Counter to all that, you don't have to lose your house or give a **** about HBD to lose power. Thanks ted, for getting it.
Kinda the wrong time and the wrong place to be a dick, dontcha think?

Sorry the game caters to people all over the world. If the site, or life, shutdown every time a natural disaster happened somewhere WIFS would be down 50% of the year.

Stop being selfish. We get it (not just Ted). You want special attention because of a bad situation.

I was fully expecting to lose power for a couple of days due to Sandy (though I didn't).  We were scheduled to go through budgeting on Monday, resign coaches/FA's yesterday, and arbitration today.  I was prepared to accept the possibility that I was going to miss all three days.  I wasn't expecting that WIS would grind to a halt.

I live in Thailand and I'm breing selfish and want special attention? That's a pretty lame deduction but nevermind, consider me permanently aboard the I don;t give a FF train.

I am sure you have taken a train or two in your life before, should be nothing new.

I don't think it's selfish just illogical.

The world wouldn't end if play was suspended for a few days.   But how many?  And how many people are affected?   Do the people who lost their homes and/or loved ones even care?   Does WifS make it policy to suspend play for x-amount of days for any natural disaster across the globe?  What about man-made problems?  How do we handle military action(we do have soldiers playing this game)?

I don't like posting in threads like this(and you know I don't mind posting) because people are suffering but there is no logical choice but to play on.

The existence of this thread is the most blatant example of East Coast bias you'll see until ESPN releases its next MLB programming schedule.

This describes exactly how I feel. I wish the best for all the victims of this hurricane and for any other disaster that happens around the globe that happens to our WIS users.

The existence of this post is the most blatant misrepresentation of "east coast bias " you'll see...period.
