There is around 200 openings right now. They will not open a new world until that gets to a reasonable number. I was able to get into the last league that was created. If I remember correctly there had to be less than 20 openings before that world was created. From the time it was first discussed until it was created was around three months. I don't expect that there will be a new world for a long time.
