with a B+ prestige how would you usally apporoach recruting should i try to get low level d1 players or just d2 players?how do you pull down low level d1 players? is it possible to pull down low level d1 players with a B+ prestige d2 team?

I've been at B+ prestige for the last few seasons, and D1 pulldowns are certainly possible with realistic expectations.  Don't get totally hung up on pulldowns and ignore the regular D2 recruits though.  I've found many D2 recruits that are much superior to D1 pulldowns, so keep an open mind.

Pulldowns work the same in DII as DIII.  Scholarship, a bunch of scouting trips and a  little bit of hoping and praying.

You can pull down ranked players in the high 100's if they are local.

patsrule, remember that before you try to pull a player down you should first call that player to see if you get the backup message.  Depending on prestige you may or may not be a backup option for the player.  There really is not easy rule of thumb to be able to tell if you will be able to pull a player down or not, so call them first.  If you are a backup option for them you can pull them down.  A scholly offer and 10 scouting trips should the trick for most pulldown targets, but at B+ a few pulldowns might take 12-14 scouting trips.
