There is nothing wrong with using loopholes unless or until they are closed. If you don't do it and someone else does, they're getting a (legal) advantage over you, so there is no reason not to do it if it gets you closer to your goals.

In all seriousness (that was only 80% seriousness), there is actually a very valid reason why someone should actually accomplish something before moving up...to learn the game.  BCS recruiting is vastly different than any other level of HD.  If you get there before you're ready (and the OP does not look to be ready based on that resume), you're going to screw your new conference with years of poor recruiting and poor success.
