Considering a return Topic

I contested this game for a couple years several years ago under a couple of different ID's (achampa1 and dahoss88 were my other monikers). I had a decent time with the game and did a couple of tracking threads that were pretty fun for me. Nothing's set yet, but I'm considering a return to the game if a couple of things start lining up for me financially.

Has much changed over the past few years? The recruit quality was altered significantly right before I left, and that killed D1 recruiting and was one of the main reasons I left (it made building a consistent low-D1 program next to impossible). Is there anything else I should be made aware of in weighing my options?

Potential.....player growth is capped now.

If you only played pre-potential -- it has enhanced the game significantly. There is more strategy, more scouting, more team building.

Your main reason for leaving hasn't been addressed but they recently hired six new staffers so wait a few months and they'll have it fixed.

I played post-potential, so I knew all about that side of things. Potential was capped before I left, and for me the last straw was the recruit generation update (and the whole "graduating college without a job" thing). Especially at D1, it was as if if you didn't get one of the top couple of dozen players, you were hosed.

Keep 'em coming, folks; if there's anything else I need to know, say the word.

OK, pulled the trigger and came back. Cheap plug of my tracking thread: whatifsports.com/forums/Posts.aspx
