I've been the #1 offer on a player for 12 consecutive negotiation cycles (or 48 hours real time) anyone seen longer?

Yes.  Just last week I was #1 on somebody for nearly 72 hours before I lost him to another team.,

Frustrating, because I issued a max contract right out of the gate on the player.  I was topped when the "winning" team signed their bullpen coach, giving them the edge in the tiebreaker.
