I have attempted to redshirt a player and in doing so it cost ten points on his work ethic.  I have a few questions about this.

If I remove his redshirt, do his ten points get restored?

If I remove his redshirt, can I redshirt another player?

Do you think it is worth the extra year of development even though he has lost ten on his work ethic, or would it be better to remove the redshirt and get the ten back with four years of development?

Yes, his points will get restored if you remove the RS.

Yes, you can then put the RS on another player (whether they accept it will once again be up to them).

Often it can be worth the extra year even if a guy drops ten points. I did it with this guy and didn't find it to be a bad decision. Ten points of WE will be made up by the extra year in my opinion. I also didn't want to risk no one else accepting the RS and not being able to use one, because I find the RS to offer such an advantage that I hate not using it.

If I remove his redshirt, can I redshirt another player? Yes, you can attempt to redshirt any player until they see any actual playing time (assuming they have not previously redshirted)

Do you think it is worth the extra year of development even though he has lost ten on his work ethic, or would it be better to remove the redshirt and get the ten back with four years of development? It depends upon the starting WE... for your guy he only dropped to 40. With his crappy GPA meaning more SH minutes taking away from development you'll need that extra year to get anywhere near his maxxes, assuming a couple of high high potentials...
