Yeah, you don't really have any other options, honestly.

He'll be bad.  At least, that's not the type of player that a team that wins a game in the NT will have.

As a general rule at D3, I like my cores to be 60.  For a PG, I consider ATH, SPD, DEF, BH and PASS to be cores.  If a few of them are up over 70, I'll drop one as low as 45 but I don't think I would recruit anyone who would max out un der 45 in any of those categories.

well i got him because he had decent ath/speed -- good defense, good passer and decent ball handler, he seemed to me like a legit role player

Not sure of his remaining potentials, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't take him on a D3 team.

Look at the top teams and programs in your world and look at the types of players they have.
