I'm recruiting a player who has declined my guarantee to start more than once. He has said he needs more info and his last email said he talked to his parents about the guarantee to start but they told him to keep shopping around.

I don't have enough money to send a SV, or HV or CV for that matter. So, I guess the question is... if I keep sending the guaranteed start will he eventually accept it?

I'm fairly certain that in order for a recruit to accept a starting promise, you can not be way behind in effort (assuming you are in a battle for the recruit).  You need to put in enough effort for him to be either struggling or maybe even ahead I've heard.  Guaranteed minutes I think however might be accepted anytime they're offered.

Sounds like you are way behind so if you don't have enough cash remaining to close the gap you might want to start looking elsewhere.

not true budd. They will reject the guaranteed minutes if you are not in a certain range of being considered. I get the message a lot that he does not know what a promise of minutes means at this point.
