4 WE and 45 minutes of practice time in a skill Topic

I am thinking about signing a guy with High potential in one skill (not LP or PER)  but only a 4 WE.     If I put 45 minutes of practice time in that skill and start him for the first 3 years with 15+ minutes of playing time, is it reasonable to expect 20+ points of growth in that skill.

What about if he is High-High?

even starting him for 4 years, that 4 work ethic will only end at maybe a 12. i dont know, with 45 minutes, theres a chance you could get decent improvement, but i wouldnt count on 20. with 4 work ethic, the guy today is basically as good as he will ever be. i think when you do like 20m practice on a 10 work ethic guy, with a high high potential, you get like +2 to +4. with 45 minutes maybe +3 to +6? but then losing some in the off season is a real possibility. i would think you could count on +10 after 3 seasons, but +20 is probably a stretch, even with great luck that may be impossible.

Dont forget about diminishing returns if you exceed a certain amount of minutes. At some point its not really going to make a difference how much you put in.

He will grow at most 2 points this year (and probably 1), and will lose more than what he gained in the offseason.

Not worth it.

For reference, this is about the kind of growth you can expect.  About 2/3 through the season, with 52 minutes of practice in conditioning.
