I think another small problem is that if you haven't paid for a season in 2 years you can't post on the forums. There are a lot of very successful coaches who earn enough credits that they never have to buy seasons and therefore can't post in the forums. For example on my main ID I can't post in the forums, and I only log into this ID sparingly, and don't always feel like logging out of my other and logging into this one just to make a post. 

And there are also a lot of successful coaches who just don't read the forums at all.

This is no different than most other game-related boards I frequent.  A small segment of the player base is vocal (and usually helpful) but most just aren't into typing out their thoughts or sharing their secrets.

Then there are coaches who have become pretty disgruntled with HD and barely tend to their remaining teams' scheduling and recruiting, much less come here to post opinions that might get flamed.  I mean, why bother?

if you send a ticket they will turn your posting rights back on

I go hard about things on here because I feel like some people are either being dumb/illogical, or they refuse to see the other side of the coin.  I try not to participate in personal attacks, but it gets frustrating when all I do is type the same thing 4, 5, 10 times over and the point still doesn't get across.  Yes, it's fine if we disagree, but if you're not considering the other viewpoint then whytf are we having this/a conversation?  It's like you wanting a win requirement to makeup for/excuse a less-than-desirable ranking system...it's clearly not the best solution, and it kind of amounted to you whining/pouting about not making the PIT, again when in fact my solution/rankings got you in with no win requirement.  Your problem is, is that you don't want to see this game associated with anything I do/have come up with, but you're also making posts here saying that you don't know how to download stuff into a spreadsheet, so your opinions seem more emotion and not logic driven.  I've done college basketball rankings for 4 years and my system correctly picked all the at-large teams in the 2013 NCAA Tournament...there's a track record.

And it only took what, 2 months for gillispie to finally get through to hughesjr/nachopuzzle about how the multiple team guys are getting screwed because of the selective rule implementation?  That's unreal.

A lot of what I've seen on the "other side" for the last couple months has been reactionary, spur of the moment, "I (think I) got screwed" sentiment and you think since you send a ticket to seble that you're going to get your way, and I'm going to go hard against guys here who want changes because they're butt hurt.  Like kcsundevil saying he was going to send seble the results of his poll about whatever it was...win requirement?  And it ended up not even being a majority at 49% yes...I mean come on guys, you're actually smarter than this, right?  I understand that I can some/a lot of the time be unlikable, but you're going to throw logic and common sense aside just to combat me...c'mon....pathetic.

Nature of message boards to degenerate into personality conflicts.  Actually, less of that on this board than on many.  People are people--some are thin skinned, and react badly to perceived slights.   Others feel they have to be aggressive and confontational.  Be grateful this isn't one of the more heavily-used Rivals football boards, which are unreadable, with anonymous screen names calling each other out.  Have not seen any of that on this forum-----yet.
