not based on their ratings, but anything can happen.  your advantage now is the amount of upperclassmen u have,  but that wont be such an advantage by the time the tourney rolls around.  u have good LP, PE, and REB, everything else is too low for DII.  Good luck though.

No, I don't think this is the case. Your team has a ton of depth (with all those upperclassmen), and while your BH and Passing leaves something to be desired, you should be fine against the press. The defense of this team could be better, but you have a great offensive team. Final four isn't likely, but if you get a good draw and a couple of lucky sims, anything can happen. Also if I were you, I'd play mostly "+" defenses to neutralize your poor defending guards and utilize your strong defending bigs, and don't be afraid to run uptempo (esp. against younger teams, or teams with weak benches or poor defenders) to utilize your strong bench. Good luck terps!

I tend to agree here.  I just won a NC in D2 Crum with a team that didn't have much better BH and Passing than his.  Of course, my team's Ath and Def were *significantly* better, which obviously helped to cover up those flaws.  It'll take just the right bracket set-up and probably an upset or two along the way, but once you make the NT anything can happen at that point (see any 1 vs. 16 upset).

I would worry about perimeter defense as well, you don't have a  guard with a DEF rating over 51.   You should be shooting for 70.

I think this team is like a 2nd round NT team.   I don't think you get farther than that.

Thaks guys for the honest responses.  I run uptempo just because I have more offesive weapons coming off the bench than most teams.  I do try to run +1 or +2 if they have real good scoring guards.  Yes my big men are my key, good DEF and REB ratings. I really like Silva except for his DEF ratings coming off the bench.  Thanks me4284850 and Dan.  I'll try.  I like Wolfe at the SF, but do you think Levitz would be a better SF with his high LP and PER and OK reb?

S16 team at best...

Levitz would be better at the 3 than the 2, but Wolfe is a better starting 3 than Levitz would be.  I might consider starting Smith at the 2 and using Levitz off the bench at both spots.

Hmmmm.  Good thought dah.

Update, After NC I'm 9-1 and ranked 14th.  We'll see how I hold up during conference play.  Last game my def. finallylet me down.

Ironically my LP defenders let me down this game.  Kinda of odd since they are my best defenders.  Oh well can't win them all.

Finished 26-3. Seeded 8th. Probably lose in 1st round. A little disappointed.
