... What is the most trips to the finals someone has made before winning their first one?

Well I'm at 1 and I hope it ends there, though I'd be happy just to reach another final (not saying that I don't want to win it lol).

If it makes you feel better, I also started 0-3 in titles games.

Eventually pulled even to 4-4, then lost 4 straight before winning my last 2. It can be frustrating to wait, but keep putting out teams that are capable of winning a title and eventually you'll get one.

You might have had the best team. In a 7-game series, you probably would have won. In this game, we gotta learn to embrace the randomness.

I'm 0-4 in Rupp D3 in championship games…. not sure how many dang final fours I have made with that team on top of that….  

this post inspired me to count.  So I have 6 final fours with that team and no titles.

I think I made 2 before winning one.

I went to like 10 final fours though before winning one.
