So the post-season seeds came out overnight in Allen and I went to click the links in the auto-generated "email" that comes on the team screen for viewing the National Tournament and PIT seeds and my virus scan (Kaspersky) is freaking out for the first time ever, saying it is a phishing scam.

Anyone else in Allen having a similar reaction from a different virus protection software or have previously had a similar reaction? I suppose it's possible kaspersky made a tweak to its heuristic detection methodology, but I don't recall having an auto-update message for the program.

'Tis the season to be paranoid...

That's good to know, and I would definitely agree with your assessment of Kaspersky. Just freaked me out because it's the first time it had ever triggered on that email. Thanks for the reassurance!

i get all kinds of alerts when i pay for seasons. i dont remember the details... been a while... but it seemed clear to me at the time it was just WIS not following proper internet security conventions, so i always went ahead and paid. there used to be all kinds of weirdnesses i would experience with their session management, but it seems better now? so i guess i wouldnt be surprised if it was just something strange, not really broken, but flag-raising, that your AV was picking up on. a lot of these guys try to identify good and bad sites now so many some of WIS's other issues have labelled them dangerous in the eyes of kaspersky?
