When were superclasses killed/eliminated? Topic

The "Money for 6" rule was enacted on 12-9-2005, but there's no mention of class limits or the "superclass".

Since there is seemingly no record of when this happened....when were the class limits enacted?  Educated guesses are welcomed.

Early 2006. It was enacted after the $$$$ rule was put into effect because people were still signing 10-12 man classes, they were just using less money to do it.

see the 2008 dev chat - link posted in your other thread.  It was a bit hard to find in the updates list because, I think, there was a bunch of forum discussion including admin before it was adopted, so there was less in the update posting - but the link is in your other thread

Way to slander me about something that NEVER happened...I never said and would never say anything like that.

I went back to as far as the forums go - looks like a new forum format was launched after 2008, so one cannot see the discussion then about super classes.  I recall multiple threads discussing proposed changes and a good bit of interaction between admin and users about possible approaches, but I dont know how to find it.  Maybe the old forums are cached somewhere, but I'm not good at finding ancient stuff like that.
