My team is 3-0 on the road and 1-8 at home granted this is a small sample size but does it seem odd that I've won this many on the road while losing so many at home

No, not odd.  You've played okay-to-good teams at home (for the most part) and crap teams on the road.

I recall one season where I compared every team in D-3 teams' home and away records. After about 15 games for all 384 teams, the away team won more games than the home team did, although it's still a very small sample size compared to all the seasons played in all worlds.

You're 4-0 against teams that have an RPI of 139 or lower. 0-8 vs teams with an RPI of 75 or better. If the better team always won at home, everyone would be scheduling home games.
