HD'ers,
I just wanted to give everyone an update on my medical condition that had required some chemo awhile back-I received the "OK" from my Dr. and played my first Church league basketball game Sunday night. Scored 6 points on 3-of-7 shooting but dang, those were the sweetest 6 points EVER!  And we won, so it truly was a "win-win" situation. The only thing better than returning to the hardwood is being able to help coach my 4-year old son in Pee Wee Hoops at the YMCA. I want to again thank everyone for the kind words, thoughts and prayers that I've received-I'm a lucky man to belong to such a great group of "Coaches".

You guys absolutely rock!!

thats awesome, p.  but,   at  43% Im afraid were gonna hafta cut back your distro a little.    :-)


seriously, congrats,  im sure that is a great feeling and i can only imagine its even sweeter coaching the 4 year olds.
and the neat thing about coaching that group is that the maturity level is probably a little higher than it is here on the HD forums!

Nothing better then those words from your Doctor.  As the father of a Cancer remission child, I can attest to the strength it has taken for you.  Continued Prayers to you and your family.  You need to be around to watch him when he plays those college games!
