Amateur Draft - How to see more top prospects? Topic

For the past several seasons across all three worlds I am in, I seem to be missing out on even seeing a disproportionate number of the top 10-15 players in the draft pool.  I know that even 20/20 HS/COL scouting doesn't guarantee one will see all of the top prospects, but can your draft settings play a part in how few/many of the top prospects you see?  I've got the 2nd and 3rd overall picks in an upcoming draft and am trying not to foul that up!

Setting changes will move the bottom end around a little but will have no effect on the top players you see.

Damn...that had always been my understanding/experience, but I hoped I had missed an update or something.  I guess I've just had bad luck the past several seasons with my top-of-the-board vision.  Looking at the draft pool for my upcoming draft, I have a sneaking suspicion I am going to be cussing when the guys I end up taking at #2 and #3 are significantly worse than one or more guys who went later because they didn't even appear on my board.  #probablygoingtobefiringmyamateurscoutingdepartment.
