Thoughts on INTLs? Topic

Anyone willing to give me thoughts on the 2 internationals I signed at Mizzou? I went INTL for guards because i was surrounded by A+ teams that needed guards, so battling was a suicide mission. Neither are world beaters, but both are worth keeping I think.

I think Hoing will be a serviceable player. Won't be a star, but should get over 700 pretty easily and be able to not hurt me. I think he'll be able to play PG for me by his junior year.

Hoing - WE 61

ATH 72 - avg
Speed 77 - low
REB 1 - low
DEF 57 - high
BLK 1 - low
LP 1 - low
PER 58 - high
BH 68 - high/high
Pass 72 - avg

Kosta should be able to play SG or SF for me down the road. I think he could end up being better than Hoing.

Kosta - WE 92

ATH - 77 -avg
Speed - 52 -high/high
REB - 13 - ?
DEF - 64 -high
BLK - 1 - low
LP - 15 - high/high
PER - 37 -high
BH - 66 -high
Pass - 54

I like Kosta.   He'll have scores in the mid to upper 80's in ATH, SPD, DEF,BH.   I think that is a pretty solid 3.

Hoing is okay as well.

Both these guys are players on NT teams in my opinion.

Nice pick ups trobone - I'm in the same recruiting situation as you - can't even sign guys 10 miles from me because of higher prestige programs. How many ST's did it take you to accumulate all the info? - How much did you spend recruiting these guys?

I liked Howin Hong.  His speed being regular-low kept me from trying to nab him, but his DEF is HH, he's a mediocre student, and his FT is high.  You might as well know since you've inked him already.   Kosta's passing is only 44, that's a bit of a risk if you never found out passing potential.  He'll be excellent if that's at least high.

about 30k combined. I usually send 5 STs to start with. Usually gets me all the info I need. I could have spent less to get these guys I bet but I didn't want to invite competition by someone randomly showing up after they send a scout or two.

Passing came up as high potential, but not high-high. That's why I never see him getting PG minutes and leaning more toward SF than SG.

great startegy 30k for 2 guys isn't bad at all. I have always avoided internationals fearing the cost and overall lack of info - time for a change i guess.
