Just a thought........
I do something a little bit different with those kinds of players.
I would make that guy your #1 reserve at 3 or 4 different positions. If he's the first reserve at SG, SF, PF, and C.... he can be a quality player in the lineup if any of your starters get into unusual foul trouble. Also, being first reserve at that many positions will usually give him over 20 minutes a game. I do this quite frequently with "jack of all trades players" and it works well.....
