Is  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Louie Seanez ready to move up to the show to play CF or 3B (my bigger need) or is another year in AAA in order?

You don't want him in CF until he increases his range and glove.  He will hurt you defensively.

He can play 3B right now, though he's not going to be anything special either offensively or defensively.

I wouldn't start burning ML service time on him yet, I'd give him another season or even two of development.

He shouldn't play CF(range) or 3B(arm accuracy).

Well....all true, except here's his current ML options for CF or 3B;
  David Cloud
 Randy Rogers
 Emmanuel Gil
 Don Sano

Gil is perfectly acceptable at SS. The remaining three are a swirling vortex of suckage at the plate, and at a high enough price that they are staying with Montreal.

He might be in the proverbial corner.

Cloud is actually doing alright at CF too, upon 2nd look.

Thanks for the input.   Cloud is my small silver lining and Gil is a gold glover at SS...but yup I don't get many runs. I figured Seanez playing at 3B gives me a little better bat then that crowd.

Without evaluating your entire team, placing a young player at a position he can't really field isn't helping your team that much, if at all, now or in the future.    You could play him at 2B, where he'd be adequate, or LF, where he'd be GG-quality, or RF, where he'd be more than competent.    Then you could address CF/3B in FA.   My guess is he'll be 3B-ready by the end of next season.    Unlikely to get the range to play decent CF.

Plus, you can play a young guy who's still developing at a "lesser" defensive position, and he'll still develop his defensive ratings towards projections.

I had a guy who projected to be a stud 2B, but when his bat was ML ready, his defense was not.  So I brought him up and stuck him in RF.  Around 2/3 of the way through the season, his defense had developed enough where I felt comfortable moving him to 3B.  And over the off-season, more development allowed me to move him to his final position of 2B.

While no one has addressed it, I'm not sure he's going to be that much of a better hitter.    He's not really developing by leaps and bounds.    He added 2 points to contact/eye and 4 points to his splits after 3 points in power in the off-season.    Cut that in half for next year and you've got what he's going to be.   IMO, he'll hit like a 2B.

Never thought of him at second base. Given he's likely to be injury prone i thought of him as a more a back up at 3B and if his range does reach potential at CF. Now I'm leaning to keeping him in AAA one more season and bring him up as a the utility player who will bat in the bottom 3. I got to address my lower pitching rotation this FA before 3B. Cloud can cover CF for another couple of seasons.

Thanks everyone

He's not going to be injury prone.  62 health is nothing to be overly concerned about.
