If you have a guy transfer from your school, do you get money to fill that vacant scholarship? This is the first time I've had it happen.

Yes you get scholarship money if someone transfers.

which is why we need a dropdown menu of ways to encourage guys to transfer

a. assign player to wash team laundry
b. inform player he will not get significant minutes this season
c. inform player he will not get significant minutes NEXT season
d. assign player to pick up coach's dry cleaning
e. hit on player's girlfriend

f. inform player that even if every other player on the team got cholera he still wouldn't sniff the court
g. go "old school" -- grab the player by the throat or head butt him during a time out
h. have the bank foreclose on the condo you set up the kid's family in
i. repo the kids booster supplied SUV
j. set the kid up on 'dates' with the assistant coach's wife

k.  tell him that the pretty cheerleaders only date seniors, but he can have his choice of the tuba players.  
l.  tell him the school has dropped his major, 'Beginning Math'
m. tell him about the new  community service requirements at your school. He'll be picking up trash along the highway, while wearing an orange jumpsuit
n. tell him he won't be going on road trips with the team.  It would violate his court-ordered 'out of state' travel restrictions. 

o. tell him he needs a 4.0 before he can practice
p. remind him the showers are only for players who play in games
q. move him to the Lambda Lambda Lambda house

Nice. That is good to know. I don't feel bad about him leaving now.
