I'm curious how many coaches here have gameplanning secrets or recruiting secrets that they know work but are not often discussed.

I know I have a few I don't bother sharing, I like having that edge.

So HD forums, do you have secrets?

i used to, but i would usually share all but 1, maybe 2, and seble has slowly deleted those things from the game... like personality (coach calls giving you info on who would leave early) and unlimited letters to internationals. i guess when i think about it, there's probably still a trick or two... but i generally make references to these things from time to time, and i know some people pick up on it at least. im sure some of the coaches who play with more intensity than i do have some tricks up their sleeves as well.

Read all the discussions about perimeter and player settings. Pay particular attention to what emy says.

What works the best with international players? I might try to go after 1 or 2 if i get accept to the edgewood slot in tark.

about 60 letters, then your only option is home visits. well, i guess you can do SVs, too - but HVs are definitely better at that price range (surprisingly, not by as much as you'd think, so don't feel you can't win if you had to do evals first to decide if you even wanted the guy)

well, you cant pull a player down like that, it takes more effort than 60 letters + scholarship to pull someone down. however, you can get players already on your level to consider you for letters + scholarship, and if you ever do a battle, make sure you get those 60 letters in.

Here's a secret...people think I suck at this game, but I really don't ;)

I wonder if the same thing works with domestic recruits? Like does 60 letters/calls make that much of a difference? Or is the money better saved for visits?
