Do they count against the 6 players per class or are they like a walk on who already has a scholarship?

Do they count? I know there is a way to get around the 6 player limit. I thought it was with an ineligible

I believe that his fifth year senior is considered in a class of his own, and is not actually part of the senior class.

sr/5 becomes its own class but IIRC when they are listed as SR they do count against the number of SRs.

You can't recruit any players that will give you more than 6 into a single class... but you can redshirt players to produce ones with more than 6.

Ok just to clarify my exact situation is, redshirted a freshman last year, and have 5 incoming freshman so far. I can't bring in 6 and redshirt one correct?
