Sim Recruiting Walk-ons Topic

When I first joined WIS a couple years ago, it seemed like Sim teams regularly took 3-6 walk-ons, taking them from bad to absurdly terrible. Then sim recruiting seemed to improve. While Sim teams still weren't usually powerhouses, they at least usually had 10+ players, and games against them weren't complete jokes.

It seems like over the last few weeks, the pendulum has shifted again. Sim teams again are taking ridiculous numbers of walk-ons, and games against them are jokes. It especially sucks when they're in your conference, because they torpedo the RPI.

Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just drawing too broad conclusions from the relatively few Sims that end up on my schedule? And if you have noticed, what causes it? It's not like I think WIS has changed something about the recruiting algorithm

if the first part of what you are saying (that sims are recruiting better), then its most likely they'll be going head-to-head with more human coaches and presumably humans should be better recruiters, causing sims to not sign their targets and end up with walk-ons as a result.

It's a pendulum tarvolon -- it happened in Iba a couple recruiting cycles ago, but that was the first time in ages that I'd seen it happen in any of my four worlds. I sent a ticket in on it and was assured there have been no changes made to the recruiting process.
