I got this message when trying to campus visit a recruit, leading me to think he hasn't dropped yet... do i just have to keep sending ST to him? My confusion is that he is considering aonther D2 team with a B prestige. I have an A-, I would think this would factor in somewhat... he's already gotten 15 ST sent and I keep getting "He thinks he's going to the big boys".  After 15 visits and no positive notes, can I assume he is never going to drop and just move on?  I really want this guy but I'm pretty against wasting money.

is he within 70 miles of the other program? you also don't know he dropped to that school, he could have been pulled down. 

Hard to speculate not knowing said player's distance from your campus, but the fact that he's only 30 miles from the other coach opens a world of possibilities for explanation.

hes only 160 out from mine..  IDK guys... i'm going to feel him out... would he still drop if he is already considering another d2?

you can pull him, and yes, he may drop, (assuming the cv request reply is as reliable as a scholy reply, which idk) but it is generally much more expensive to pull someone who is already considerkng someone. due to 70 mile thing kid may even have been immediately available to the other school.

the 70 mile effect is pretty big in this context

How many slots does the other guy have? How much money might he have dumped into the player? Did he have extra carryover? Could he have just dropped a metric ton of scouting reports on him?
