How many games do I have to wait to call up a prospect without it counting against his number of ML years?

20 minor league days.

My rule of thumb . . . if your minor league season starts on a Tuesday with the AM cycle, do your call-ups the following Tuesday after the AM cycle.  It's an extra HBD day or two, but takes the math out of the equation.
