I'm looking to trade for a player in year 5 who went to arbitration for the final time. He is not willing to sign an extension because the team took him to arb all three years. Does anyone know if a player would sign an extension after a trade to a new team?

He might.  I took Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Zachrey Duran to arb 3 times, he refused to sign an extension.  I traded him and he signed.
