I purchased a team in a world. The payroll before setting budgets was 88 million. I had to set my scouting( HS, COLL, INT) all at 6 mil..along with my prospects.  I set my training and medical at 14 (the max for my 1st season) anyway I have 107 million . I have 4 arb players, totaling close to 20 million.....thus putting me over budget....yet alone I need to replace my MVP player who is injured for half the season.  I now can not  sign anyone, or anything since I have to deal with the arb players. I have a few STUDS I can trade to help get younger pieces and help my payroll....but I am getting flack saying I am going to wreck the franchise. Now of course my intention is making the franchise better, but I am at a loss.  I feel like I am being forced to stick to the high payroll....and if I try to trade,  they will be vetoed by the comments  that are being made about  trading my best players.

Well, reading your WC, no one is saying that a deal will be vetoed.  They're saying "If you really want to trade that guy, get something big."   And, after looking at the player in question, they're right.   Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Benny Molina   Only one of the arb guys has any value even close to Molina's.   Let one or two of them walk(especially the old pitcher in AAA.   No one is going to sign him so, if you have to have him, you can get him cheap). 

FWIW, if you took a team with 88m committed to payroll, you were committing to a high payroll. 

You don't *have* to sign the Arb guys - you could release them. An unpleasant alternative, but an option nonetheless.

So the world knows he's running two teams?    And they don't care?    Weird.
