I deliberately picked the worst sim in D3 as an exhibition experiment:

81 point win, 50 fouls drawn, 41 turnovers forced.

I think that's pretty good considering my team is D3, has no seniors, and was recruited from C-. My goal next season is to make the game un-simmable. Based on some other threads I've heard that if the other team fouls out to the point where they don't even have 5 players, they just re-sim the game. But what if this happens every time they sim? If it does sim, I'm hoping to win by 100. I think high D1 teams should do the same thing in exhibition (against ridiculously bad D3 sims). I want to see more box scores like the one above.

Unless they have changed it recently they don't re-sim the game.

thats cool rick, but they don't resim. they use the NBA rules, i forget what they are, but basically i think fouled out players are allowed to play and you get an extra foul shot if they foul again, or something like that.

I always use one of my exhibition games to schedule the worst DIII team I can find.  During recruiting I go into the "Team Ratings" section and peruse the DIII conferences looking for teams with 3 or less players, meaning 8 or more freshman.  I have seen some truly disgusting box scores.  When a team has <5 eligible players left, the engine just sticks a fouled out player back on the floor.  I don't remember getting an extra foul shot if they foul again, but that is possible.

ive had a couple 100 point wins playing against bad D3 teams with my UConn team.  Almost did it with A&M as well this past preseason.  Your best bet for ridiculousness is to have a dominant fb/press team and play against an awful fb/press team.  As I hate fb and press, I never really have been able to do it under those conditions.

As stated earlier, the game won't be re-simmed. I've seen more than a handful of box scores where the Sim's players had 6, 7, even 8 fouls charged to them.

Wow, I had no idea it could be taken to that level.  I remember reading a thread once, where someone didn't see their game simmed, sent a ticket to CS, and CS said they were having "simulation troubles" with that game, and I think it was a similar extreme foul scenario.

And of course the real way to make this happen is to do it as bow2dacowz said: high-end D1 fb/press against low-end D3 fb/press.

Since this is a D3 team, and can't really hope to put up the greatest exhibition records ever seen in HD, I think I'll set a different goal for next season: average 45+ fouls drawn, 35+ turnovers forced, and 75+ point margin of victory, for the entire non-conference part of schedule.  Yes, I'll be screwing myself in the projection report, but at this point crazy box scores mean more to me that small improvements in seeding.
