Sim coaches monitor 3 point frequency Topic

If there was some sort of set guidelines for sim coaches for 3 point frequency for their players.

It would make sim teams more than just a regular clean-up as pretty much every team has SF/PF/C with perimeter ratings way below acceptable to be taking 3-point shots, sure there are real cases of players not good at taking 3 pointers (Josh Smith), but you don't see that so often like you do in this game, there is a clear difference in 3 point attempts by sim players varying by perimeter rating (sim players with higher perimeter take more 3% shots), but rarely do you see players with what would be under a 20 take a 3 point shot the entire season if any(J. Noah has taken 7 his entire career, Dwight Howard has taken 46 his entire career never more than 7 in a season) yet sim players with perimeter ratings of under 30 seem to take anywhere from 20-40 a season, it may not be a big difference but it would definently make it more realistic.

for example i feel as this could be easily to implement(I've taken 1 programming my entire life but this doesn't seem to hard);
player x has per rating 90+ set 3p frquency to +2, +1 if player is shooting under 38%
player x has per rating 80-89 set 3p frequency to +1, +2 if player is shooting 42.5%+ during season, 0 if player is shooting under 35%
player x has per rating 65-79 set 3p frequency to 0, +1 if player is shooting 40%+ during the season, -1 if player is shooting under 35%
player x has per rating 45-64 set 3p frequency to -1, 0 if player is shooting 40%+ during season, -2 if player is shooting under 35%
player x has per rating 44- set 3p frequency to -2, these players should not get an increase in 3p frequency as they should only be attempting "buzzer beaters"

also having opposing defense plans of playing +5/-5 not effect players with a per ratings under a certain number for example 45, so even if an opposing team is playing a -5 defense it should not effect a center for example with a per rating of 34, even if the defense is completely sagging off he would not take the shot, i think in this situation the center may take 1 perimeter shot(dwight howard will take a 3 if he is left completely wide open and noone attempts to cover him, but if he misses the 3pa then he would not take another even if he is left open again.

using the previous paragraphs logic for opposing team gameplans should benefit players with middling perimeter rating such as 45-65 ratings as these players while not great perimeter shots, would attempt a bit more than they are planned to, which is currently realistic in the game as sometimes if you play a -5 defense opposing player with 60ish per ratings will shoot more 3's and depending on the opposing defense/spd ratings will make more/less, so there is a risk of running such an extreme -5/-4 defense against a team with middle talent in the 3 point area., but if a team has no more than a 45 per rating then possible the 3pa increase is not as dramatic as a eam with players in the 60's. (ie if you run a -5 against a team with 2 players rated 65 per they may both attempt more 3's like 6-8 attempts compared to usually taking 3 a game, but if you run a -5 against a team with nobody over 45 in per than at most they may still attempt only an extra 4-6 perimeter shots and not such a high number like they curently do.

or something along the lines as making sure players with bad perimeter ratings are not taking perimeter shots at all or more realisticly.

i feel as this would help make sim teams not complete dumster fire and since they're so many sim coached teams it would help make it better.

that is all, if this is confusing i can try to reword it better or give better examples.
