Through the automatic draft tool, we will draft our initial 25 man roster using the following seasons: 1901, 1911, 1921, 1931, 1941, 1951, 1961, 1971, 1981, 1991, 2001, and 2011. At the end of the first season, each owner will name their keepers using the next season (example, if you draft Babe Ruth in 1921, use his 1922 season in season 2....1923 in season 3 etc). Owners may keep as many or as few players as they wish. For those that do need to draft a player/players, the future drafts will be conducted in the forums. Draft order for future drafts is worst to first each round based on record at 120 game mark. Ties broken by Exp Win%, then H2H, then coin flip. Players that drop out of the SIM for a year or more may be placed on the DL as long as they are brought back as soon as eligible again. In subsequent drafts, any players not kept on another roster may be selected provided the appropriate season is used (season 2 draft uses 1902, 1912.....2002, 2012).
Rules
1. This will be a 16 team league using WIS format E (16 teams/4 playoff teams, and TRUE on balanced schedule and interleague play).
2. Salary Cap = $255MM
3. League Settings: No DH, No WW, No AAA. Yes to trades (8 vetoes required). You may also trade draft picks. Yes to transaction deadline and injuries. League will be randomly realigned in year one and then keep the same alignment thereafter. Live Play is next series only.
4. Ballparks: We will draft ballparks in the forums prior to the start of the player draft. Draft order for the ballparks will be determined at random.
5. Draft Rules: Draft order will be random and snake style (1-16, 16-1). Daily start time is 10am and daily end time is 10pm (eastern). Time limit is 45 minutes. Time limit duration is forced. Only one version of each player allowed (only 1 Roger Maris) and players may not be replaced during the draft. All rounds will be 1 player/round so it will be a 25 pick draft.
