Letters and long distance recruiting Topic

I remember a forum post several months back that talked about using a combination of phone calls and letters (or something along that line) in long distance recruiting situations. I can't seem to hit on the right keywords for it to come up in the search results. Can anyone point me to that post?

I don't recall the title of the post but 40 letters and 40  player calls will get most players to consider you.

I was pretty hammered when I started the recruiting nationally thread.   I was locked out of my in laws beach house on a friday afternoon with a case of beer.

The 40/40 stuff is all for drop downs, right? Is there any advantage to using them in a pull down situation?
