baseline prestige? Topic

What exactly is it ? and how is it calculated, I first assumed it is simply just the prestige of the program when you arrived on campus as the coach but have never seen that confirmed?

It's the baseline set up by WIS that impacts the relative effect of NT performance, players getting drafted, etc. on a school's prestige, it only affects D1 schools and the actual baseline grades can be found at the link below<br />

Teams will tend to gravitate toward their baseline prestige.  It will take less success for an A baseline school to get their prestige up than for a B baseline school.

Also, it is worth repeating that baseline prestige applies only to D1.
