Even so, playing at the 3 rather than 4 would give him significantly fewer rebounding opportunities. Here's a decent example from my current team that illustrates this.
Two players on my team, Eddie Moss and Richard Borror, have formed my starting 3/4 combo for three seasons. Borror played the 3 for the first two seasons that I was at PU and Moss is playing the 3 this season. Borror has always been a better rebounder by a solid margin (current ATH/REB margin: +8/0). When Borror was at the 3, he was outrebounded by Moss 4.5:4.1 and then 5.7:5.2. This season, with the roles reversed, Borror is outrebounding Moss 7.0:6.1 and this is the closest Moss has ever been to him in terms of rebounding ability.
