minutes promises? Topic

i know the deal with start promises, but what about minutes? are most players 90% these days? i really screwed up, got busy and missed the end of recruiting, and am trying to decide if i just say screw it, and lose the players, or say screw it, and lose the season. the # of minutes i have to actually hit off these promises might make the difference, its pretty close right now. 57 stamina and 30 minutes is not exactly ideal... fricken 80k left too! uhg. are there any gimmicks left, like redshirting the player for the entire season except the last game of the season in which he plays the whole game? i assume not?

i believe he only has to play 80% of the minutes in games he appears in. rs'ing him and then taking it off should shoot him back up to regular we by the end of the season, but if you make promises and then rs, he'll likely drop to 1 we.

Shouldn't it be 80% of the minutes he was promised in games he was capable of playing in (i.e. not below 80% health) during the regular season?  Otherwise, I would think that's a pretty big loophole to circumvent the minutes promise (or similarly the start promise).  I don't think they care if they play the 30 minutes every game but at the checkpoints, I would think he'd expect to off played 80% x minutes promised x games played.

So assuming he doesn't get injured and you promised 30 minutes per game = (26 x 30 x 80%) = 624 minutes over the regular season.



Do overtime games help in the minutes calculations?
