if I have 4 SR's and end up with 2 walkons at the end of the year I will lose 6 players at the end of the year. If I have two players that might go EE that means neither would leave right? If am basing this on my understanding that more than 6 players can't leave at one... But I could be terribly wrong. I have not been in this situation before so I don't know how it plays out.

walkons don't count for the limit of 6 - six graduating seniors plus EEs - walkons don't count - I think, but don't know for sure, that 1 year transfers also don't count

That's what I thought but I was hopeful it was different.

Walk-ons and 1 year signed transfers don't count towards the 6 player limit.  I've heard however, that ineligibles who could stay for a 5th season still count towards the limit (someone recently had 5 SRs plus 1 ineligible who could come back for a 5th season and 2 others who were high up on the draft board *top 5* and neither left even though they made it all the way to the NC game.
