I'll chime in with a question on this then.

Is this what I should expect, year in, year out from Butera? I figured that the switch hitting should make up for the contact but with the splits and decent batting eye I figured he should at least be 0.020 points higher.

Thanks Mike. A lot of those lower numbers and averages are what I would expect from my guy. .300 and 30 homeruns seems extreme but 20-25 with a .250 avg and .320 OBP is what I was expecting. Just a bad rookie season I guess.

San Diego will suppress his numbers quite a bit.    Even so, he still should add at least 50-60 points to his OPS in SD.
