Had a bunch of $$$ left over so signed some career minor league IFAs so as to not just waste it. The WS was swept in 4 games and the clock ran out on the season just as I got notices from the FAs. Now the messages are there but the league forum is locked. I'm not going to be able see if these players accepted their contracts. What are the chances of them being "signed" after we roll over?

If you got notices from them they MAY have signed.

The one way to know for certain is to look at the main world page and see if you have any players "needing assignment".

IF that says zero, then yeah, you lost out on them. However, if there ARE players needing assignment you should have them at the beginning of next season.

Unassigned players become free agents. 

Yes normally that's the case.

I had the same exact thing happen to me one season and it showed 7 players needing assignment, but the WS finished and I couldn't assign them.

I figured I had just lost them, but they were all still there after rollover.

It's been a long time since I left someone unassigned but that's how it used to be.   No exceptions.  Treated them as released at rollover.

Oh contrare... I did have one sign. One out of 4.

Sounds like a loophole that I'll figure out a way to exploit.

Perhaps being unassigned at rollover will "encourage" players to decline mutual options.
