The mentor list on the forum has been around for awhile, as well as coaches offering help to new coaches. The idea is to implement an assistant coach system that mimics the mentor system.
This can also be used for job applications, if a player is having success at D2 and is an assistant coach to FOR EXAMPLE the national championship Alabama team or whoever it is, they can have a better chance at a higher job.
Other ideas for the system is: only D1 coaches can have assistant coaches, the D1 coach has access to see the D2 teams setup but the D1 coach can choose whether or not the D2 coach can see his setups. Only 1 assistant coach per D1 team and Only for human teams.
I also keep saying D2 but D3 coaches can also become D1 assistants. Unless the community would prefer only D2.
Anyone oppose? Anyone have any other ideas?
