My experience was on a 1B. He was my former player. Ihad best record in majors. Won the NL. And had a HC with a 91.

The team that edged me out, was sub .500 yet had a HC with a 96 rating.

So despite a max contract, loyalty bonus, and best record. I lost out to a team with 5 extra HC points. Lesson learned.

How do bonuses work?  Does the money come out of your prospect budget?  What is the max bonus?

10M is max bonus allowed and it comes out of player payroll.

Okay, so, 9-time MVP  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Tomas Cairo became free agent this season, I'm presuming he received multiple max offers, he received at least one that I know of, but he re-signed with his old team very early in the process.  His old team does not have any coaches signed except fielding coach.  

If a player's former team offers player option and no-trade, do they win that player back automatically?

5 years (seasons) continuously with the same team will all but guarantee the player will resign to original team as long as max (or exactly the same offer) is offered by original team. max deal is 5 years at 20 mil, 10 mil bonus, no trade and player option. if the 5 years is not met by original team and multiple max deals are given then the tiebreakers are in play which are IQs of Pitching and Bullpen coach for pitchers and Hitting and Fielding coach for hitters. hope that helps

forgot to add the second tiebreaker... The second tiebreak is ballpark. Pitchers will always want to pitch in a pitchers park and position players will always want to play in a hitters park.

I am screwed than....I was the first to offer the max contract to a free agent....the previous owner has a hitting coach of 85 to my 84....but the previous owner did not offer the max contract until  a day after the process began..He had to free up some money. His home park is better than mine ...I am out in the cold it looks like..... but so far after 2 cycles of the previous owner  offering the max contract too..it still says I have the top offer( if that is actually telling the truth).....and I have yet to get a message stating he got a better offer.
