what should I consider a good turnover rate? Topic

When picking a PG (or any position) what average TOPG or TO rating should I stay under? I'm currently trying Magic Johnson in an exhibition. Hasn't gone so well. He averaged 3.8 TOPG & in the sim he's been over 5. The whole team seems to have the same problem. Despite shooting better than the opponents, including 3PTFG, outrebounding, etc my team has had a rough go. Last I looked they average about 27 TOPG to their opponents 19, so this is clearly where my team lacks.

you have to look at tov%.

Which means you have to look off-site or do math.  Wouldn't it be nice if they gave us a number so incredibly crucial to the engine when they give us a ton of stuff that isn't used at all?  I've only been asking for it for... almost 7 years now...

(and then the answer is immensely complicated... tov% for PGs is traditionally pretty high... so it greatly varies with position & the type of role they are in... usage plays a large role here, as it does in almost everything)

good luck.

and also keep in mind, usage issues greatly effect turnovers. make sure to look at ash's posts on the 'usage tiers'.....its really strange why they'd make the sim like that

Ur starters have a combined usage% of 70.4, that's ur first problem.

Ok. That's true. What should I keep my team's total usage under?

Ur starters should have a usage% of at least 90%.

Oh, ok. I misunderstood you. I thought you meant my usage was too much
